Almost All Black Everything…

I am a walking advertisement for wearing too much black clothing, and if it’s not black it’s probably white or grey. My wardrobe is monochrome madness. However, since picking up the pink/nude top I’m wearing here from Missguided I’ve become obsessed with it and love pairing it with my black Asos skinnies, which are no longer available but these are practically the same. I feel it takes a bit of edge off of the jeans and it’s refreshing to add a bit of pink into my wardrobe now that Spring is fast approaching. I am challenging myself to add a bit of colour this year and make what I wear a bit more interesting, we’ll see how that goes…

I’ve also been making the most of my knee highs before they get packed away until the Autumn. I’ve been so in love with these boots this season and they’ve definitely been the thing I’ve had most wear from. I purchased them from Next where they retailed at £92 but because at the time I was entitled to staff discount and had a gift card I think I paid about £7 for them, bargain of the year for me. The only problem with these is because they’re suede they’re so easily damaged!

And of course I can’t not mention the gorgeous black fur gilet that I picked up from Topshop – it is still available but it’s half price with limited sizes left. I’ve been loving this piece this Autumn/Winter and find it such an easy way to add some warmth without completely burying your outfit beneath hundreds of layers.

I’ve also started to incorporate Spring ever so slightly into my make up. My FOTD featured pink eyeshadow for the first time and it’s safe to say I am obsessed. This look was created using the shade ‘Chopper’ from the Naked 2 palette and a pink shade from the Morphe 35W palette which I tend to reach for most days – post coming on that soon.

What have been your fashion staples this Winter? And what new trends are you looking forward to in Spring?
Until next time I’m back off down the rabbit hole.
